Information about Classes and Fees

Registration

Registration prior to the first day of class is required in order to obtain an accurate number of students with which to hold a class. A minimum number of students is needed to hold a class. If there are no pre-registrations the class will not be held. When necessary, a class will be canceled 24 hours prior to the starting day of the class. If a class becomes filled we can usually schedule another class to accommodate the need. Classes and lessons are open to all people regardless of race, sex, religion, age, disability or national origin.

Payment

Payment is due on or before the first day of the class. Visa and Mastercard are accepted. Tuition is noted in the schedule as member / non-member. Members receive a 10% discount on classes. Lab, supply and/or model fees are excluded from this discount.) Lab supply, and/or model fees are noted as they apply. When registering, make your membership known.

Refund Policy

Persons desiring to withdraw from a class must do so before the first class session. No refunds will be made after the first day of class. If the class must be canceled, registered persons will receive appropriate refunds.

Scholarship and Financial Aid

Scholarships and financial aid are available to help defray the cost of classes for eligible students. Applications may be obtained at the Ashtabula Arts Center front desk during business hours or from the appropriate class coordinator. Applications are due one week before classes begin.

Fall/Winter Dance Class Fees 

Some classes like Tai Chi, Tae Kwon Do for Kids, Step Fitness & Toning, Ballet and Gentle Stretch for Seniors, and Beginning Ballroom and Swing are excluded from this Price List. Prices for these classes can be found with the class descriptions.
